On Bonaire several local banks are willing to arrange a mortgage for holiday homes. It is roughly possible to finance 50 to 70% of the purchasing costs locally.
You should be aware that the interest rate will be about 2% higher than in the Netherlands.

It is possible to increase the mortgage on your first house. You can also take out a second mortgage on your house.
