Dutch municipality

From 2010 on Bonaire will officially be a “special” Dutch municipality. Municipal law will apply as basis for the administration.
There will be certain exceptions in the area of e.g. social security.
The inhabitants of Bonaire will have the right to vote for the Dutch parliament.
